Automatic data storage

When you visit websites, certain information is created and stored automatically, and this website is no exception. Our web server automatically stores data such as the URL of the page visited, browser and browser version, operating system, IP address and time of access in log files. This data is deleted automatically after two weeks. It is stored on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating the website securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany), which processes the data on our behalf.

Picture credits

Most pictures on this website come from Gärtnerei Wagermaier's own archive. Some pictures are used purely for illustration and decoration and come from pixabay.com, unsplash.com and Wikimedia Commons (royalty-free or public domain). These pictures do not necessarily show the nursery's own products or work.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies or any tracking technologies.

Contact form and email

If you write to us using the contact form or by email, we use your details (name, email, phone if given, your message and optional details such as occasion, date, place, pick-up or delivery address and a chosen gallery picture) solely to handle your enquiry and do not pass them on to third parties. The message is delivered to us by email; we send a confirmation of receipt to your email address. To prevent misuse, we store a check value (hash) calculated from your IP address and the time of the enquiry for no more than one hour, in order to block more than five enquiries per hour from the same connection; we do not store the IP address itself. The legal basis is the preparation or performance of an order or our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We delete the data as soon as it is no longer needed for the enquiry, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation you have the following rights:

Maps and fonts

The maps on our location pages are images stored on our own server (map data © OpenStreetMap contributors). Viewing the page does not connect to any map service. Only when you click “Directions” does Google Maps open; from then on Google's privacy policy applies.

The fonts used on this website are also stored on our server. No fonts are loaded from Google or other providers.
